Tomzn Fire Extinguisher Breaker (DIN Rail DB Fire Extinguisher)

Tomzn Fire Extinguisher Breaker — automatic DIN-rail aerosol fire protection for distribution boards (DB), solar panels, UPS cabinets, and enclosed electrical boxes.

This compact heat-activated aerosol unit mounts on a standard 35 mm DIN rail like a circuit breaker. It is built for enclosed electrical spaces: home and solar DBs, inverter cabinets, UPS boxes, and similar panels.

When temperature reaches about 170°C or an open flame appears, the device activates on its own — no power or wiring required. The agent discharges in roughly 6 seconds or less, is non-conductive, and leaves little residue near breakers and inverters. Typical service life is up to about 10 years with no refill under normal use. Best suited to small enclosed volumes (around the 0.1 m³ class).

Operating range is about −50°C to +90°C. Keep the unit inside a closed cabinet so the aerosol can fill the space effectively.

Installation instructions

1. Switch off power to the board and confirm it is de-energized before you open the panel.
2. Choose a spot on the 35 mm DIN rail with clear space around the unit (keep away from hot transformers/resistors where possible).
3. Align the clip and press firmly until the device clicks onto the rail (same feel as mounting an MCB).
4. If your unit has thermal sensing leads / probes, route them toward the top of the enclosure and near likely heat sources (breakers, cable entries) without pinching wires.
5. Close the panel. No separate supply wiring is needed for normal heat-activated operation.
6. After any discharge: do not touch the device until the casing has cooled; replace the unit — it is single-use after activation.
